In the average church there are more women than men.
"Half of these women probably come to
church without a male companion."
Many are wives who have a husband at home who does not share her Christian faith. Her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ is important to her but at home she has to keep it to herself.

The Wives Support Group Ministry was formed in 1992 in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. The Lord gave Lorraine Addison (pictured below) a vision of the special needs of wives in an unequally yoked situation.
The Lord has blessed and grown that ministry which now ministers to women in over 75 churches in Brisbane and other states of Australia.
Prayer has become an essential strategy to the ministry and women involved are taught to commit themselves to wait on God for His plan, His timing and His leading.
Wives Support Group Ministry has become international. The UK is embracing it, and a new support group will be established in Northallerton, NE England. The facilitator of this new group will be Amanda Zelenka, and you can contact her at the New Life Baptist Church www.nlbc.org.uk
