St Andrew’s Encouragement Day for Women Genuine Christianity: lifestyle, words and action When: Saturday, 30th August 2008 Where: Emmanuel College ( UQ St Lucia ) What: Lorraine Addison has been invited to present an elective to encourage Christian women married to not yet believing husbands, to live effective, godly lives within their marriages. Regular/Recurring EventsAside from the regular meetings of individual Wives Support groups, we have several events per year for all members to get together.
Ladies Retreat Held twice per year, just for a day, our Ladies Retreats are for women to “Come away to a quiet place to be with Jesus.” (Mark 6:31) The women are built up in their faith, encouraged in the circumstances of their lives and have an opportunity to have a time of solitude with Jesus.
February We also put aside the first week in February each year to make it a “Week of Prayer and Praise” to the Lord for the wives and husbands of the Wives Support Group Ministry. As we fill our garden of prayer we know the Lord will give us a harvest of hope each year, so that we glorify His name.
