National Prayer Summit

Friday 8th to Sunday 10th October 2010

Mt Tamborine, Gold Coast, Queensland

The focus is to provide a place for believers to come away from the demands of the world to focus on the Lord, to be refreshed, refined and restored. It is our hope that those who attend will be encouraged and matured in their prayer life and intimacy with Jesus. To help enable this to happen, we will provide Godly teaching, prayer ministry, worship and solitude prayer time in a beautiful, relaxing environment.

Aside from the regular meetings of individual Wives Support groups, we have several events per year for all members to get together.

Ladies Retreat

Held twice per year, just for a day, our Ladies Retreats are for women to “Come away to a quiet place to be with Jesus.” (Mark 6:31)

The women are built up in their faith, encouraged in the circumstances of their lives and have an opportunity to have a time of solitude with Jesus.

 

February

We also put aside the first week in February each year to make it a “Week of Prayer and Praise” to the Lord for the wives and husbands of the Wives Support Group Ministry.  As we fill our garden of prayer we know the Lord will give us a harvest of hope each year, so that we glorify His name.

Isaiah 40:27–31

27 Why do you say, O Jacob,
and complain, O Israel, "My way is hidden from the LORD;  my cause is disregarded by my God"?

28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
